Last week, I attended the first Social Media Breakfast in Chicago. I was very excited. I had been waiting for SMB to hit my city!

The event filled up very fast with a waiting list of 30. The topics that were discussed were:

B2B Communications, Business Development, Career Development, Measurement, Non-Profit

There wasn't much of an introduction to Social Meda Breakfasts because the event started a bit late. The tables were split up by topic. The number of attendees were 9 per table plus a moderator. I selected the ROI Measurementt group. Our moderator was Gini Dietrich. Our topic was "What’s the ROI?"

To learn more about what we discussed, go to http://tinyurl.com/kjfznk

Gini did a great job moderating this topic. She can be found on Twitter here: http://www.twitter.com/ginidietrich

I am looking forward to attending more SMB - Chicago events. It was very nice to meet people in my city.

i love you mom and dad
Thanks for this, Lin. I've been to only one SMB, in San Francisco. It was an entirely different format. I'm surprised they covered 5 different topics in one session, but the small groups certainly would tend to spread around the opportunity to get actively involved. I checked out Gini's summary; good point about recruitment.
