what an interesting year it has been already! This week I'm going to run through a number of players real quick and recap how are they doing so far this season compared to what might have been expected out of them before the season started. Nothing too in-depth
Ladainian Tomlinson
He's performing like a normal human this year, and that's a disappointment to many. The team made a huge mistake getting rid of their coach and it looks like they don't have any real leadership. If you can get 20 touchdowns out of Tomlinson this season, you should be ecstatic
Larry Johnson
four weeks in and zero touchdowns. nuff Said
Stephen Jackson
No touchdowns and a torn groin. nuff Said
Shaun Alexander
All things considered, you have to be pretty happy here that you did not wind up with Larry Johnson or Stephen Jackson. Alexander could very well lineup with more touchdowns than Tomlinson this season. As long as he doesn't start talking about how God has healed his broken wrist and start doing handstands or something similar, you might wind up being really happy with him
Frank Gore
He might have went too high in most drafts.
Joseph Addai
Dealing with some injury issues right now, but he's going to outperform a lot of the people who were taken ahead of him this year
Peyton Manning
Everybody's number one quarterback, although I had him ranked number two this season. So far, he is the second best quarterback fantasy wise.
Tom Brady
For years he's been a solid quarterback, but never the top fantasy choice in the position. I had him ranked number one coming into this year, and so far he is living up to those expectations.
Next week we will dish out some early-season awards, not all of which you want your players winning!
