Bib quest 2009

in

kielni's Blog by offline kielni

Evan has outgrown most his baby bibs, but is making bigger messes than ever. My husband and I decided it was time to buy some new ones. We started, as usual with baby stuff, at Target. We noticed that most of the bibs were tiny useless ones, like we already had. We found one package of bigger... more >

Audio: Ron Ploof on the business of storytelling

in

Bryan Person's Blog by offline BryanPerson

Ron Ploof is one of the best storytellers I know. His Griddlecakes Radio show has been around since the podcasting's early days in 2005 and explores the "lost art of audio storytelling." Ron typically shares tales from his own life--and in dramatic fashion. Whether he's recounting a... more >

Honesty is the Best Policy... Dang Policies

The First Day of the Rest of My Blog by offline LWDebbieD

I am a firm believer, that being absolutely honest with your kids is the best thing to do, at least for the really important questions (within age appropriate parameters of course). I also believe that the "innocent magic" that is childhood, which already disappears too quickly, would be gone... more >

I started off my morning by reading Jeremiah Owyang's post over at Web-Strategist.com regarding the mandate Community Managers now have to deliver up ROI. Reading it really made my day. Call me old-fashioned, stuck in the 1980s, or whatever, but shouldn't most business investments be made with the expectation that there will be some return on those dollars? Now working in the field of community management I certainly know first hand how difficult putting those metrics into place can be,... more >
Welcome to SocialVoice!
We’ve been doing online community for a long time; it’s in our DNA. We believe in dialogue and relationships and their potential to move people.

We collaborate with clients to create online places where they talk with, listen to, and learn from their people--whether customers, interest groups, practitioners, developers, vendors, or employees. And where all those people converse and build relationships with each other.

We’re proud of our work. Because our reputation depends on our clients’ success, our efforts reflect pride of craftsmanship. We consider it a matter of integrity.

SocialVoice is about who we are--not just what we do. We'll be talking about online community, social networking, marketing, and how to engage people. We'll be doing plenty of listening, too, and look forward to your comments and contributions. It's also about personal communities--our people, pastimes, and commitments. We’re a diverse group--we love that about us and you. Community is our work, but it’s also at the root of our relationships in and out of the company.

Come in, get to know us, and join in!

You can also find us on Facebook and on Twitter.
