My middle-school-aged nephew recently made a friend request of me on a networking site. I haven't accepted or rejected it yet, and it's been two days. My posts are usually 'family show' rated, but sometimes my friends give very adult responses over which I have no control except to delete them. (The posts, that is, although I suppose I could delete the friends. ) I'd prefer not to do that. I'm wondering if I should just friend him and deal with things as they come along (if they even do), or call him on the phone and talk to him about why I can't friend him, or speak to his parents and ask what I should do.
