I have not heard this but will check it out.

I used to listen to a bit of reggae, mostly the mainstream Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, I-Tal, etc. I have a friend that was an excellent reggae guitarist that I used to jam with on occasion. It was fun to get that far outside of the comfort zone that I usually played in.

When Ska and Reggae got to be really popular in the mid 90's it was easy to burn out on it with all of the airplay it was seeing in my area so i kind of gave it a rest. It might be time to revisit.

Thanks for the recommendation, Star!

Anyone else hear this or have other favorite reggae albums?

Way back in the 70s (ack!) I used to love reggae and went regularly to a club when they featured live reggae bands. Had kind of lost touch with the genre over the years, but recently discovered, courtesy of a friend, Michael Franti and Spearhead. Their album, "Yell Fire" is a great, very danceable set of tunes. I particularly love the track "East to the West, which appeals to my spiritual side.
