As you know, I love a good vampire story so when I heard 'True Blood' was going to be on HBO, I set up a season pass on the TiVo. The show is just as good as I'd hoped it'd be!

I'm also watching my usual faves like 'ANTM,' 'Project Runway,' 'Kitchen Nightmares' and just about anything on the Smithsonian channel. So many good shows to choose from right now!

The writer's strike last year drove me to spend my evenings reading. While I am definitely looking forward to shows returning for a new season, I am mourning the loss of evening time with my books.

Shows already returned: Bones, House, Dancing with the Stars.

Looking forward to the premiers of all the CSI's, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, and Criminal Minds.

I can't wait for January with the return of The Tudors and The Closer!
