In this short video, I discuss the outreach efforts from Austin-based nonprofit Mobile Loaves & Fishes (MLF) to provide cool drinking water to the capital city's homeless population.

Central Texas is in the throes of a brutal heat wave. Temperatures in Austin have hit at least 100 degrees in 12 of the last 13 days, with little relief in sight.

Can you imagine not having easy access to drinking water in such conditions? I can't.
